There are certain retail sites out there that are hard to pigeonhole. Whether it be from an eclectic mix of products or products that attract an eclectic mix of customers, they are tough to nail down in a few words. That’s okay. A site like EagleOptics.com is one that defies easy categorization. It seems so simple on the surface of it: it’s a site devoted to various types of magnification devices; lenses and such. But this is a question of customer, not of product. With the variety of items available at Eagle Optics, their customers include hunters, birdwatchers, amateur astronomers…heck, they’ve even devoted a link to government sales, which you won’t see too often. Now, the site itself is definitely a good one. The deep green coloration is very inviting, while the layout conveys a lot of information without being overly complicated or confusing, and the images are all sharp and clear. The site looks fantastic and is a dream to use. The inventory at Eagle Optic is great fun to browse through. They offer all manner of optical equipment. They have the standard stuff, of course…telescopes, microscope, and binoculars, that kind of thing. It’s all top-of-the-line stuff, but that isn’t what makes this site so uncommon. It’s the more hard-to-get items, like rangefinders and, of course, the night vision apparatus. This sort of thing, aimed at the more extreme outdoorsman, is part of what makes this site so interesting. There are also product reviews, as well as a link showing the many worthy causes that Eagle Optics are involved with. This is a great site for anyone who has an interest in the many properties of the magnifying lens. |
