Avon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the country. Avon sellers were often the main supplier of beauty and bath supplies for many, many women. We as a society have long had a deep interest in how we look. A company such as Avon is a natural outgrowth of that desire. What Avon did and does is bring products to the masses, people who may not be able to afford or locate extravagant beauty products. Looking good often equates to feeling good, after all. Sure, there are plenty of places to go where you can find cosmetics, perfumes, and other assorted beauty-related items, but few companies will offer you the combination of affordability and quality that Avon and their internet arm Avon.com does. You can get all manner of products here, from the standard cosmetic/perfume sort of merchandise to beautiful jewelry to inspirational gifts to various wellness products. This is some fantastic stuff; it’s all affordable and it’s incredibly easy to get. Now, the website that Avon has assembled is excellent. The design is first-rate, with an engaging color scheme filled with soft pastels. The images are all crisp and colorful as well, and the overall layout is such that plenty of information is provided without sacrificing anything in the way of aesthetics or navigability. Additional features include various offers and sweepstakes, as well as a section filled with beauty tips and ideas. The whole thing clicks nicely, providing service comparable to door-to-door via the internet. Avon has done some good work here; if you’re looking for beauty products, this is a great place to look. |
