There are so many things for the business owner and operator at Office Depot; it’s hard to know where to begin. With thousands upon thousands of office-related products available for very reasonable prices, it’s easy to see why Office Depot.com is one of the most popular sites for purchasing supplies and equipment online. Additionally, the folks at Office Depot have gone out of their way to build a solid site that is both attractive and easy to use. The setup is fairly basic, but when the customer has to deal with so many choices, bells and whistles are not only unnecessary, but an unwanted distraction. The signup and ordering processes may take a few minutes, but the lion’s share of it is signing up, and that only happens once. Still, as with any sales-oriented site, the key factor has to be the product, and Office Depot has it. The site provides clear descriptions and crisp, detailed pictures for each of their products, allowing the customer a fairly good understanding of each item. This site is everything office; from paper and pencils to desks and computers, it’s all here. In addition, Office Depot.com provides its customers with many business-oriented features. There are links that allow the customer to download various forms, as well as a link to a small-business handbook and a directory of Web resources that many will find extremely helpful. All in all, Office Depot has assembled a smart, functional, and above all helpful site for businesses of all sizes. |
