There is an old adage that tells us that the only two things that are certain in life are death and taxes. Paying our taxes is one of the most necessary of evils; no one really wants to pay taxes, but that money pays for a lot of things that make our lives a little bit easier and a little bit better. Of course, the hit to the wallet stings a little, but what really frustrates most Americans about taxes is the hassle factor. Figuring out your taxes, especially if you’re in a middle-class income bracket, can be woefully, almost painfully complicated. That’s where H&R Block comes in. Now, these folks have been doing tax preparation and assistance for decades; their web presence, however, is a relatively new one. While their internet operation may not have the history of their physical business, the site can and does provide many of the same qualified personnel and helpful services. Trying to list the many services available would be foolish; there are just too many. However, some of the highlights include the online tax service, access to H&R’s tax software, and mortgage information. So many different aspects of your financial life can be brought together and made easier with the services and information available here. The task of using this site is made a lot easier by the careful attention paid to its user-friendliness. With this much information, it can be easy for a site to become cluttered. Not so with this one; it’s smooth sailing all the way. This is a great site and a great resource. |
