In a marketplace as vast as the internet, there are bound to be multiple sites selling very similar products. The question is how to establish some sort of uniqueness; something that separates one site from the rest. Kitchenetc.com has done that with style and flair. They sell cooking and various other kitchen products, but the website they have put together is more than the sum of its parts. While their products are top-quality and affordably-priced, what sets this site apart is, among other things, sheer size. There are literally tens of thousands of items available for purchase from this site. The danger in packing a site with reams of information is that navigability may be sacrificed. Happily, Kitchen Etc. manages to avoid that trap, balancing the numerous features and links with a nice sense of user-friendliness. In addition, the site is really quite attractive, if a little busy. The colors and images make for attractive visuals, contributing to a pleasant overall experience. That being said, there is nothing used in a kitchen setting that you cannot find, in some form, at this website. Plus, the products they have tend to combine functionality with aesthetics. The products are the star of the show, it’s true, but there are other wonderful features as well. There is a bridal registry, as well as a recipes link, but the really fun one has got to be the events link, which not only provides event info, but gives us biographies of the “Kitchen University” chefs. This site is absolutely perfect for the culinary-minded. |
