Books are wonderful things. There really is something deeply satisfying about curling up with a good book. A love of books is something that can sustain intellectual stimulation for a lifetime. Now, some of us have literary interests that cannot be easily filled just by going to the bookstore. There are also those among us who, for whatever reason, no longer have strong enough eyesight to enjoy most books. Now, when you join a club such as Doubleday Large Print, you get to pick from all sorts of books…best-sellers, personal health, self-help; all kinds of great stuff, and it’s all large print, so those with less-than-stellar eyesight can easily read. It is a fairly basic site, but that’s okay. Simplicity works well here. The color scheme is understated and subtly effective, and the layout is easy to follow. Now, from this site, you can pick up all manner of books. Biographies and popular fiction, compelling non-fiction…you can get it all just by joining the Doubleday Large Print book club. The way the club works is like this: upon signing up, you will choose five books from the list presented. This will be your initial order, and it will be incredibly inexpensive. After that, you will need to purchase at least four more books at regular club prices within two years. It really is a fantastic deal. Satisfaction is guaranteed, and you may return your initial books within ten days if dissatisfied. Your membership will then be cancelled. If you’re a fan of books, no matter what kind they might be, you should give this site a look. It’ll be well worth it. |
