This is a fantastic site, with a wonderful aesthetic. It is nice to look at and a dream to use. Art.com has an inventory of thousands upon thousands of fine-art prints, photo prints, and posters. There are hundreds of artists in the catalog, and each piece is shown in full color, with the option to enlarge the image. Other information regarding the piece is available, as well. The customer would be well-served in allowing him or herself plenty of time to browse, because there is just so much to look at. Then, when the selection is made, the fun really begins. The site allows you the ability to customize the framing of your print. You can choose frame style and color, as well as amount and color of matting (if any). This part is really kind of fun, and while the site offers a couple of suggestions, you might be able to work out some interesting color and stylistic combinations. The fact is that if you are in the market for prints, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better site than this one. |
