Payless is one of those stores that seems like it has always been around. It is one of those companies that have always maintained a strong mall presence. However, in keeping with the current trends of e-commerce, it only makes sense that Payless would branch out into the world of internet retail. Payless.com is really quite well-done. The site is simple and attractive, and navigation is wonderfully easy. Making a purchase is quick and painless, and Payless doesn’t even require the customer to register before buying, although if you plan on buying again, signing up is definitely worth your while. Either way, it takes just moments to go through the entire process. The key to Payless, however, is the affordability of their products. Bargains upon bargains await the shopper at Payless retail outlets, so why would the website be any different? There are so many great shoes at low prices…almost too many. The smart shoppers will allow themselves time to look around, because one never knows when a real eyepopper of a deal will present itself. Additionally, not only are the prices right, but the selection is huge, and Payless has devoted a lot of effort toward user-friendliness. The product search is very specific, allowing the customer to look only at items that he or she might be interested in. The people at Payless have made affordable footwear their business for years, and their online site is more of the same. The idea isn’t broken, so why fix it? |
